Google India has informed that it has introduced some marked changes to ‘Google Maps’. Along with the ‘Plus Codes’, the tech giant has also introduced voice navigation in six Indian languages. The newly introduced languages are Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. All these updates are for the Android apps. Google officials maintained that iOS users too will get the features, soon in the coming days.
The ‘Plus Codes’ feature, which is also called ‘Open Location Code’, has been in use since 2014. ‘Plus Codes’ will help users dividing the ‘Maps’ into smaller grids and assigning a unique code for each.
