Google has announced the updated Lighthouse 3.0. The V.3 of this website optimization tool comes with a number of optimized options. Announced during the Google I/O 2018, the Lighthouse has got faster audits, a new report UI and has less variance. The two major changes, which Lighthouse 3.0 has made were under – ‘Stimulated throttling’ and ‘Smaller waiting periods’. By incorporating some striking changes, Lighthouse 3.0 managed running in a faster and efficient manner, than before.
The new Report UI in Lighthouse 3.0 came as a result of the collaboration with Chrome UX teams. There are also some changes in the configuration options as well.
