Kochi: Fioc, the theater owners' association, has withdrawn its decision not to screen new Malayalam films. FIOC Chairman Dileep said that the problems in the film sector will be resolved by discussion.

At the same time, the producers' association is adamant that they are not ready to negotiate with Fiok. It is the right of the producers to screen a film in better quality, and the producers' association criticized Fiok's ban as completely irresponsible.

Theater owners have announced that new Malayalam movies will not be released on February 23. The protest was highly critical of the producers' association.

The price of projectors is going up, producers' association says it is impossible to buy them, they should stop releasing movies through OTT platforms before the scheduled date.

The complaint of the theater owners was that the film was being released on OTT within 42 days.
