Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Kaduva’ clears all legal hurdles and finally is set to release on July 7. The announcement was made by the actor on Tuesday through his social media. The film has been given U/A certification.
With the final decision on the release date, the advance booking has also started.
Due to the complaint filed by Jose Kuruvinakunnel aka Kuruvachan, the film’s release faced uncertainty. A single bench of the High Court had directed the Censor Board to look into the complaint. His complaint was that the movie is based on his life and there are scenes in the movie that insult him and his family.
This is the comeback film of Shaji Kailas. ‘Kaduva’ was the first film announced by Shaji Kailas after a gap of eight years in Malayalam.
The film is set in the ’90s, which tells the story of Kaduvakunnel Kuruvachan, based on a real-life person from Kottayam.
