Facebook, while considering an ad free version of its platform, has come up with the idea of people paying for the social network. The current business model allows facebook to use user data and joining them with potential advertisers, the recent data privacy scandal has made Mark think about a different business model, more than ever. While Mark Zuckerberg stays with his promise of making Facebook a free platform, he however seems going after a different model of revenue for the company.
In search of other forms of monetization, Facebook is strongly considering the concept of a paid user base. Reports suggest that Facebook is right now conducting a market research among consumers about the business model.
