A Belgian Court has fined Facebook for collecting personal data. The court ordered Facebook to pay a total of EU 100M, in a manner that the social media giant would have to pay a daily fine of EU 250,000, until the whole amount is paid. Besides fining the company, the Belgian Court also asked Facebook to delete all the data it had collected from Belgian citizen.
Reportedly, Facebook has been indulged in collecting the personal data of users in Belgium. Reports claimed that the social media giant even collected the data of people, those who were not using the platform.
