During the much buzzed F8 event, Mark Zuckerberg has made it clear that Facebook would strive to make the community relationship stronger than it was in the past. Mark during the keynote speech, said that a total of 20,000 people would be working on security and content protection by the end of this year at Facebook. Acknowledging the responsibility of keeping people in the platform safe, F8 saw Facebook announcing a number of exciting plans. The event saw Facebook announcing its first Standalone VR headset ‘Oculus Go’.

An important decision, which Facebook has announced, was that of the tool ‘Clear History’, letting users to delete their usage history completely. Another important announcement made during F8, was that of Facebook Messenger becoming able translating English to Spanish, soon in the coming days. The video chat feature on Instagram platform, group video chat option on WhatsApp, modification of WhatsApp stories are some of the important announcements made during the F8 event.
