Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that no one should worry about the conductance of SSLC, Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations, which are scheduled to take place between May 26th and 30th. He assured that students would be provided transportation facilities, thereby turning down all the concerns raised in this regard. CM said that stringent measurements would be taken to ensure social distance.

In response to questions such as whether the exam was being conducted to override the central government’s directions, he, however maintained that the state had never intended mixing politics with the conductance of the examinations. Pinarayi Vijayan added that the Education Department would make necessary arrangements for the conductance of examinations in the Gulf countries. “If things didn’t work according to the plans, it will have to be postponed”, said the Chief Minister.
