With European Union (EU) getting ready to introduce the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), Google has come up with an updated Privacy Policy. It is on May 25th, which the GDPR would be coming into effect. The new Privacy Policy of Google, as was laid out in their blog post, details on all the aspects of the way it collects data from users.
Google, while announcing the new Privacy Policy, ensured that the new policy incorporates explanatory videos, illustrating its operations. Features such as ‘Activity Controls’ help users to choose which activities were saved to their Google account. The upgraded versions also come with a ‘Mute This Ad’ control as well.
