In order to achieve the target of migrating to electric vehicle system by 2030, the govt. seems to be trying all the way to bring innovative ideas to strengthen the electric vehicle industry. That said, Bengaluru based technological start up, Emflux Motors is all set to launch Model 01 – India’s first electric sports bike. Despite the fact that various makers have tried and tested their electric vehicle wing, no one was able to pull off the design needs of Indian consumers. Well, Model 01, being a sporty in every sense, might be an answer to those who craves for better designed electric bikes.
All set to debut at the Auto Expo, 2018, Model 01 is reportedly, powered by a liquid cooled AC induction motor, which is capable of generating a peak torque of 84Nm at 8400rpm. Reportedly, it takes 3 seconds for reaching from 0 to 100kmph. There is a 7 inch touch pad, which can give various details, such as GPS navigation, real time vehicle diagnostics, auto updates and to name a few others. Featuring Anti Lock Braking System (ABS), Model 01 is expected to cost between INR 5 Lakh and INR 6 Lakh.
