Missing 12-year-old boy found dead Rasheed’s son Afzal died at Thonthi, Elanadu, Langampalliyal.
Afzal, who had left home at around 11 o’clock on Friday, went missing in the evening and the family lodged a complaint with the Pasayannur police. Police, friends and locals searched but could not find him.
The friends told the police that Afzal was found hanging from a tree in the private land near the house on Saturday afternoon and they immediately sent a rope to rescue him but he was dead. Kunnamkulam ACP said that preliminary information is that he died by hanging. T.S. Sinoj said.
Afzal was a class 8 student of Elanad St. John’s School. Vadakancherry Tehsildar M.K. Kishore, Pasayannur S.H.O. After the inquest led by Fakhruddin and others, the body was shifted to Thrissur Medical College.
Block Panchayatangam Lata Sanu, Village Panchayatangam C. Sreekumar and others had reached the spot. Afzal’s brothers: Ajmal and Anzil.
