The coming reports suggest that Samsung Galaxy S9 has beaten Apple iPhone X in terms of the download speed. As was informed by Ookla, it were Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, which outperformed the rest in terms of the download speed. Notwithstanding the fact that the speed differs according to the carriers, the speed tests conducted by Ookla underlined that Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have outperformed Apple iPhone X and Google Pixel 2 by a margin of 37% and 17%.
Featuring CAT 18 LTE modem, both Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ supported data speeds as fast as 1.2 Gbps. It was the period between February to April this year, which Ookla considered for testing the download speeds of devices.
