Discussion on TATA Group’s Covid treatment Centre Will be held Today

The decisive debate over the location of the hospital, which was built by the Tata Group for the treatment of COVID, is coming up shortly. The Collector will be in direct consultation with the management of the Malabar Islamic Complex, the land owners. Representing the MIC, General Secretary UM Abdul Rahman Moulavi will be present. The revenue land in Chattanchal’s new compound was first identified as a hospital.

The crisis erupted when TATA representatives said they could not build a hospital because of the large hill slope. Revenue officials held discussions to get the land of the adjacent MIC. MIC management has expressed a positive attitude. Work on the earthenware machine was started the previous day, before reaching an accurate understanding. With this, MIC officials have written to NA Nellikkunnu MLA asking them to quit. The debate is on resolving this uncertainty.

The problem started with the work

Neither MIC management nor Samastha has any objection to the transfer of land. They were irritated by the work before the negotiations were completed. The 4-acre plot of land, which is just half a kilometer from the national highway, has required hospitalization. It will have to accept land or other requirements instead of handing it over.

Within a month of hospitalization

The hospital is using prefabrication technology and is being handed over to the government. The hospital will cost around Rs 15 crore and will need 5 acres of land. The Tata Group plans to complete the construction within a month if the land is leveled. For this purpose, 50 of their workers will arrive in the district soon. Even though Kovid is built as a hospital, it can be used for up to 50 years. It is the responsibility of the government to provide medical treatment and hire staff.
