Radhika Thilak is one such a gifted singer, who left the singing world, untimely. Battling cancer, the singer passed away in the year 2015. Well, Devika, daughter of Radhika Thilak, has now come up with a song dedicated to her mother. Devika’s song has recreated some of the hit songs of her mother, such as ‘Devasangeetham Neeyalle, Kananakkuyilin, Mayamanchalil …’ Music lovers have heaped Devika with praises that the young singer now feels quite happy to see how people love her mother’s songs.
While commenting on the song, Devika said that she had been looking to make a video like this for a long time. However she pulled back herself, and described herself as a lazy fellow. When asked about her preparation, the young singer said that no preparations had been made from her part. She also added that the song was recorded and shot at her home in Bangalore. She also thanked all her friends, who helped her to come up with such a project. However, the biggest vote of thanks goes to singer Sujatha and her daughter Shwetha Mohan. According to Devika, these two figures stood as the pillar of strength for her throughout the completion of the project.
Devika also said that no one, not even her father did see this coming from her. She said that her father got emotional seeing her singing and he appreciated her singing. Well, Devika is more happy for her mother, as she would have been quite happy to hear her daughter singing.
