Chipset maker MediaTek has launched their new processor during the India Mobil Congress 2017. The quad – core processor, intended to power budget smartphones, has been named MT6739. Apparently, this latest outing from the company is the successor of the company’s last year launch, MT6737. The processor is expected to reach Indian smartphones by the end of this year
The speed of this 64-bit processor clocks 1.5GHz, offering a better performance in comparison with that of its predecessor. While the processor makes use of IMG PowerVR GE8100 GPU, its display features wields supports to 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution displays, while delivering an aspect ratio of 18:9; it also supports dual SIM cards, with both supporting VoLTE connectivity.
