North Delhi Municipal Corporation Standing Committee Chairman has made some strong remarks against the Delhi government. He alleged that the Delhi government is underplaying the Covid death toll. He maintained that Delhi has witnessed at least 2098 deaths due to Covid 19. However, according to the Delhi government records, only 984 people have succumbed to death due to Covid. He maintained that the 3 Municipal Corporations in Delhi has recorded 2098 deaths during the period between March and June 10th.
That said the Kejriwal government, which is engaged with an intense battle against the Covid, and had taken some strong stances against the pandemic, would now have to battle against such reports as well, especially since such grave accusations could also acquire a political colour as well.
