Data Security: Facebook suspended 200 apps

As Facebook is slowly getting out from the security breach issue, which it had met with Cambridge Analytica, the social media giant has come up with a move, which might go well with the user community. Facebook has recently suspended close to 200 apps, during its first stage of review process. While reacting to the news, Facebook officials maintained that the suspended apps were found to have breached privacy of user community. However the company is investigating whether these apps have misused user data.

Earlier, it was as part of the announcement made by Mark Zuckerberg in month, which the company has started cross checking apps in its platform. Reportedly, the company has already undertaken an investigation into the way which over thousands of applications running in its platform.
