Hotel owner refuses to feed Dalits. The video of the woman who owns the hotel saying that she will not provide food to the Dalits even if the hotel has to be closed is now being discussed in the social media.
Reportedly, the incident took place in Gutinur village of Bellary, Karnataka. After receiving the information, Kurugod Tehsildar reached the spot.
There is a lot of criticism against the woman’s words on social media. This is a proof that caste discrimination still reigns in the Indian society, activists are demanding that strong action should be taken against such discrimination.
Recently, there were reports of Dalits being denied entry to hotels and salons in Karnataka’s Dharwad.
