Thiruvananthapuram: CPI has elected National Secretariat member Benoy Vishwa as the State Secretary. Binoy chose Vishwa after the demise of Kanam Rajendran.
D. said that Benoi was unanimously selected as the secretary by the state executive. Raja informed. D. said that the State Council will meet on 28th and the executive decision will be given final approval there. Raja told the media.
Meanwhile, Binoy Vishwam responded that he will try to do the duty given by the party to the best of his ability. Binoy Vishwam also said that he will try to strengthen the Left Front as much as he tries to strengthen the CPI.
He also responded about the media. Binoy Vishwam said that despite the occasional criticism, he was convinced of the media’s support for the Communist Party.
