Venjarammoodu : Actor Suraj Venjarammoodu and Vamanapuram MLA DK Murali went to home quarantine today. Both Suraj and DK Murali attended the inauguration of farming at the site of Suraj, conducted by The Venjaramoodu Service Co-operative Bank on 23rd May. DK Murali MLA inaugurated the function. Though the Suraj and MLA has only spent 5-10 minutes there, the health department has advised both to keep a close watch on the importance of vigilance and caution during Covid19 pandemic.
The decision was taken followed by one among the three persons arrested in connection with a criminal case has been tested Covid positive. They were arrested on the 22nd and remanded on the 23rd. Venjaramoodu Circle Inspector and other policemen had close contact with the patient.
The MLA, therefore, is being monitored at home by following the letter of the health department. The swab inspection of the circle inspector is expected to continue till the results are finalized. After the inauguration ceremony held on the 23rd and 24th of this month, the MLA met with some other people too.
