Kerala has marked yet another Covid 19 death, as Irikkur native Nadukkandi Hussain’s (70) has been confirmed Covid positive. Under observation, he passed away earlier this morning at Pariyaram Medical College. Returned from Mumbai, he was under home quarantine. After experiencing strong fever and diarrhea, he was admitted at Kannur district hospital. By 4:00 am, his death was confirmed by hospital authorities.
With this, the total Covid death toll in the state has risen to 19. Though managed to contain the disease for most past, Kerala has been experiencing an exponential rise in positive cases as well as death tolls for the past one month.
