Control will Continue in 62 districts of the Country including 8 districts of Kerala

80% of India’s Covid casualties are in 62 districts of the country. Even if the lockdown ends, these 62 districts will continue to have strict controls. In Kerala, Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Pathanamthitta and Thiruvananthapuram districts, which were declared as hotspots, will be covered under this scheme. Covid has so far reported 274 of the 736 districts in the country. Last week, the Center issued a special guideline for preventing virus outbreaks in most of the cases.
