Kollam: Senior Congress leader VM Sudheeran opposed the participation of the Congress in the inauguration of the Ram Temple.
VM Sudheeran said that the Congress should not participate in the inauguration ceremony where the Babri Masjid will be demolished and the Ram Temple will be built.
VM Sudheeran said that the Congress should not participate in the Ram Temple consecration ceremony and the Congress should completely reject the invitation.
Congress should uphold secular values against BJP’s extreme Hinduism. Do not participate under any circumstances. Sudheeran also asked that no party that believes in democracy and secular values should participate in the function.
Sudheeran added that the Congress should go back to its old secular values.
Congress deviated from Nehru’s policies. It turns out it didn’t do any good. VM Sudheeran said that Nehru and Indira upheld secular values and Congress needs to strengthen secular values further to move forward.
Congress was invited to inaugurate the Ram temple. Later, the Congress announced that they would accept the invitation and participate in the function.
