Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 is the next big thing in the chip industry, with the chipset being marked by a number of industry leaders. Well, now, Chromebooks are going to feature Snapdragon 845 chipsets under the hood. The chipset features eight semi custom Kryo cores, is being fabricated on a 10nm FinFET process. That said, already we have Xiaomi Mi 7, Galaxy S9 duo and Sony Xperia XZ2 planned to feature Snapdragon 845.
While speaking to the reports, close sources with Qualcomm commented that Snapdragon 845 was mainly focused on PCs; now, with venturing into Chromebook, it has to be seen how it turns out.
