Chiranjeevi’s Response on Trisha’s Exit from the Movie ‘Acharya’

Actress Trisha Krishnan has stepped out from Chiranjeevi’s new film Acharya. Trisha made the announcement on Twitter. The star tweeted that she was withdrawing from the film due to disagreements.

Chiranjeevi, however, has now clarified his stand on the issue. Chiranjeevi said in a recent interview to media that there is no such difference of opinion in my knowledge and that she had quit ‘Acharya’ to act in Mani Ratnam’s new film.

“I asked my team if they had any problems with Trisha. My daughter Sushmita had designed clothes for Trisha. I was shocked to find out that she stepped back from the movie. Later I found out that they had signed a contract for Mani Ratnam and she had given her dates to him.”

Trish starred opposite Chiranjeevi in the AR Murugadoss film ‘Stalin’ in 2006. After Stalin, Trisha and Chiranjeevi were to pair opposite each other in this movie. The film is directed by Kotala Siva and produced by Konidela Production Company and Matini Entertainment. Mani Sharma is the music director. Actress Regina Cassandra makes a cameo appearance in the film which has a budget of Rs 140 crore. Mahesh Babu is also expected to join the cast.

Meanwhile, Trisha is playing a pivotal role in Ponniyin Selvam directed by Mani Ratnam.
