Citing the presence of cheating ads, YouTube has removed over a thousand of videos from its platform. According to a report released by BBC, more than 250 channels have got mid video ads of ‘EduBirdie’. The agency, which is based in Ukraine, provides essay cheating service. As YouTube has asked the channels to rectify the issue, it is expected that the videos would reappear on the platform.

It must be added right here in that though the presence of the ad cannot be termed as illegal, it certainly has violated the ad policy of YouTube. Since YouTube admitted that the task of detecting baked in ads like this, would not be an easy task, it sure would take enough changes to the platform.
