Thiruvananthapuram: Former ISRO Chairman K. The current chairman S Somnath made serious allegations against Shivan.
K. so that he does not become the chairman. Somnath alleged that Shiva tried and the reason for Chandrayaan’s two failures was that the mission was executed without completing many critical tests.
Somnath made the allegation through the soul story ‘Lions who drank the moon’.
One of the main allegations was that the two Chandrayaan launches were done too hastily. Somanath’s position is that Shiva’s decision to go ahead with the mission without completing the necessary tests led to the failure.
There is also mention of a critical GISAT launch failure. For the first time, Somnath confirmed that the launch of this satellite was delayed due to government interference.
Somnath says that K. Shivan’s decisions in many critical missions had adverse effects in lions who drank the moon.
K. Sivan, who rose from the post of VisSc chief to ISRO chief, also alleged that he created crises at various stages of his career in Somanath’s autobiography.
The deserved post of VSSC chief was delayed for six months. Later, when he was promoted, he was suffocated in various ways. Somnath also alleged that he was kept away at critical stages.
The autobiography will be officially released tomorrow at the Sharjah Book Festival.
