CBSE Plus Two exams cancelled due to the spread of Covid disease

Central Govt. decided to cancel this years CBSE plus two examination. The decision was taken at a meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The CBSE Plus One exam had been canceled earlier. The Plus Two exam was also canceled due to the expansion of Covid and the lockdown in the states. Kerala had said that the examination could be held to ensure security.

Covid had canceled Class 10 exams and postponed Class 12 exams following the second wave. The apex court was asked to respond on Thursday to a petition seeking cancellation of the postponed exams. It was against this backdrop that the Prime Minister called the meeting. Ministers Prakash Javadekar and Rajnath Singh also attended the meeting.
