CBSE 12th Exam; marks based on 3 years of performance in the absence of examination

In case of cancellation of CBSE Class XII examination, marks will be given to the students on the basis of three years’ performance. If the board is unable to conduct the examination due to the spread of Covid, it is proposed to determine the score by considering the marks in classes 9,10,11.

According to the Ministry of Education, a decision on the conduct of the examination will be taken within two days. Most of the states are of the view that the examination should be conducted. There is a growing demand for vaccines for students and teachers. The CBSE is considering two proposals for conducting the examination.

One proposal is to conduct a one-step examination of important subjects between August 1 and 20. The second suggestion is to cut the time in two phases in July and August and conduct the examination in the objective model. The apex court will hear the petition seeking adjournment of the examination tomorrow.
