As his elder brother has been tested positive for Covid – 19, former Indian Cricket Captain and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has gone into home quarantine. It was yesterday that his elder brother, Snehasish Ganguly, who is the joint secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), tested positive for Covid-19.
A former first – class player for Bengal, Snehasish, has been admitted to the Belle Vue hospital. While responding to the news, CAB officials maintained that Snehasish has been suffering from fever for the past some days, after which he was tested positive for the pandemic. While the reports came by last evening, his brother Sourav Ganguly has gone home quarantine, as per the health protocols. Earlier, the wife and in – laws of Snehasish were tested positive, after which he shifted to their ancestral house, where Sourav lives. Sourav Ganguly is yet to make comment.
