BMW India is gearing up to launch its smallest car. Named ‘M2’, the car is also said to be the purest ‘M’ car packing from BMW. Available reports suggest that the new BMW M2 will be priced between INR 85 lakh and 1 Cr. It is also said that the ‘M2’ will have a ‘Competition’ package along with some styling upgrades. Powered by a 3 liter engine, the ‘M2’ will clock a peak power of 405 bhp as well as a peak torque of 550 Nm. The engine would be mated to a 7 speed dual clutch automatic, while the 6 speed manual might not be making its presence felt in India.
Having a top speed of 250 kmph, the BMW M2 would reach from 0 – 100 kmph in a matter of 4.2 seconds. There will be five color options, with one standard interior trim option, which comes in all black.
