Priced respectively at INR 29 Lakh and INR 17.30 lakh respectively, BMW has come up with two models for the Indian bike lovers – K 1600 B and R nineT Racer. Launched during the 2017 India Bike Week, both these are the variants of the K 1600 GTL and R nineT. Completely Built Units (CBU), these models are expected to start delivering by December.
The K 1600 B has got a 1649cc, with inline six, liquid cooled engine. It is capable of delivering 160hp at 7,750rpm, while a peak torque of 175Nm at 5,150rpm. It is mated with a six speed gearbox. The R nineT Racer comes with five spoke 17 inch cast alloy wheels. Essentially a 1,170cc, air cooled, boxer twin engine, the vehicle delivers 110hp at 7,750rpm; at 6,000rpm, it produces a peak torque of 116Nm.
