Beware, sugary drinking habits at a young age can lead to Colorectal cancer

The colon and rectum are the two parts of the large intestine. The cancer that develops here is called colorectal cancer. Recent studies have shown that people under the age of 50, especially women, are more likely to develop colorectal cancer. Researchers point out that one of the main reasons for this is the use of sugary drinks at a young age. The study was conducted by the Division of Public Health Sciences at the University of Washington.

The study found that people born after the 1990s had a higher risk of developing colon cancer and were four times more likely to develop rectal cancer than others. Ingestion of two or more sugary drinks per day doubles the risk of colon cancer in people under 50 years of age. Daily consumption of these beverages increases the risk of developing colorectal cancer by 16 percent.

People between the ages of 13 and 18 who consume a lot of sugary drinks have a 32 percent higher risk of developing this cancer. The study included 95,000 people, including women between the ages of 25 and 45. The study, which led the study, found that women were more likely to give up sugary drinks. Yin Kao said. Low fat milk can be used instead.

Another study from the University of Vanderbilt in the United States found that following a healthy lifestyle can reduce the risk of colorectal cancer by up to 40 percent. According to the study, diagnostic tests should be started at the age of 45 to reduce the risk of death. Direct visualization tests such as colonoscopy, CT colonography, and flexible sigmoidoscopy, as well as stool tests, can help diagnose colorectal cancer.
