Ever since the report of NORKA charging Rs 1,000 from the passengers of the Bengaluru – Thiruvananthapuram special train hit the media, it started making quite a lot of noise out in the air. The ticket charge levied by NORKA is equivalent to that of an AC coach ticket, whereas all the travelers are travelling in non – AC chair car.

Well, official from NORKA have decided to change the plan. NORKA has sent an SMS to all the passengers, saying that it would refund the extra money. The claim form will be made available on the NORKA website after June 1. It must be mentioned here that even a sleeper class ticket for a passenger travelling from Delhi to Kerala costs only Rs 975. The train is set to start journey tonight.
