French auto giants Bugatti has always been a symbol of power and perfection. However, the latest outing from the company – Chiron – has met with some serious hardware flaws. Reportedly, the company as recalled some 47 Chiron models, owing to the fault, which was detected in the front seat recliner brackets. That said, out of the 47 unitss, 12 are sold in North America.
Earlier, it was during the 86th Geneva Motor Show held in March, 2016, which Bugatti unveiled Chiron. The model, which was named after legendary racer Louis Chiron, is produced as a limited edition, with just 500 units being produced. Priced at Euro 2.4 million – approximately around INR 17.5 Cr – Bugatti Chiron has an 8 litre engine with four turbochargers; it is capable of developing 1479bhp at 6700rpm.
