During the past 24 hours, a total of 56,282 fresh Covid cases were reported in India. With last day’s figure, India’s Covid tally stands 19,64,537 to its credit. On the other hand, India has also managed to add 46,121 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours. The country has registered 904 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 40,699 lives from India so far. Ministry of Health informs that the active cases in India stands at 5,95,501, whereas a total of 13,28,337 got cured/discharged/migrated.
The recovery rate of the country stands at 67.61%, giving a strong positive note to the country’s fight against Covid 19. ICMR statistics show that the country has tested a 6,64,949 samples last day. With this, the total number of samples tested by India, has reached 2,21,49,351.
