Kerala has registered a total of 1,725 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 1,131. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 46,162, while the state’s total active cases have reached 15,890. A total of 30,029 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 45 are from overseas, while 75 came from other states.
The state has registered 1,572 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 94 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 13 more Covid death cases, taking the tally to 169.
