Kerala has registered a total of 1,530 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 1,099. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 44,437, while the state’s total active cases have reached 15,310. A total of 28,878 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 37 are from overseas, while 89 came from other states.
The state has registered 1,351 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 100 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 10 more Covid death cases, taking the tally to 156.

Right now, 1,62,217 people are under observation, out of which a total of 13,424 are in hospital. Today, a total of 1,548 people have been admitted to hospitals. During the last 24 hours, Kerala has tested a total of 30,123 samples. Till date, Kerala has tested a total of 11,82,727 samples. The results of 8,256 test results are yet to come.
