During the past 24 hours, a total of 62,064 fresh Covid cases were reported in India. With last day’s figure, India’s Covid tally stands 22,15,075 to its credit. On the other hand, India has also managed to add 54,859 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours. The country has registered 1,007 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 44,386 lives from India so far. Ministry of Health informs that the active cases in India stands at 6,34,945, whereas a total of 15,35,744 got cured/discharged/migrated.
The recovery rate of the country stands at 69.33%, giving a strong positive note to the country’s fight against Covid 19. ICMR statistics show that the country has tested a 4,77,023 samples last day. With this, the total number of samples tested by India, has reached 2,45,83,558.
