Malappuram: Son’s attempt to kill his father by hitting him with a car. His son Sudev (34) tried to kill Vasudevan by hitting him with a car. The incident took place in Vantur, Malappuram.
Vasudevan was injured in the accident. The injured Vasudevan was admitted to the hospital. The father was walking on the road in front of the Punnapala Service Cooperative Bank when the son hit the car.
While trying to escape after hitting his father, the locals caught the car. In the meantime, Sudev left the car on the roadside and escaped.
The police caught him from his friend’s house. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against the accused. The injured Vasudevan is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Perinthalmanna and has recovered. Police say the reason for the attack was a family dispute.
