At a starting price of 5.85 lakh, finally Tata Motors have come up with their compact SUV, the Nexon. With the introduction of new variant ZX+, Tata Nexon will now be offered in four petrol and diesel variants, with the three others being XE, XM and XT.
Having a 6.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system besides with the floating display of an8 speaker system, the top end XZ+ variant of Tata Nexon features a three tone colour layout inside. Reverse camera and climate control are the other features, which Nexon has in its kitty; the electronic break force distribution feature – ABD and EBD, coupled with six airbags on the top end, adds up to the security features of Tata Nexon.
The subcompact crossover comes in 1.2 litre petrol engine, as well as 1.5 litre diesel engines. While the petrol variant is capable of producing 108 bhp with a peak torque of 170Nm, the diesel variant is capable of producing 108 bhp with a slightly higher torque level – at 260 Nm. The model comes with a 6 speed manual transmission gearbox.
