At $199, Facebook launches VR headset ‘Oculus Go’

Launching their second virtual reality headset, Facebook informed that the device would be ready for being shipped by early next year. Priced at $199, the headset, named ‘Oculus Go’, costs nearly half the price of its predecessor, Oculus Rift, which is priced at$399. In contrast with Rift, the ‘Oculus Go’ doesn’t require cables. Speaking on the event, Mark Zuckerberg stated that the device will provide high quality audio, and will be a better version of the cheaper VR headsets, which are currently in the market.

While the device is yet to have its US model, it is uncertain that when will it reach Indian markets.
