Director Shakthi Soundar Rajan and actor Arya teamed up again after ‘Teddy’, with their new film titled, ‘Captain’. The post-production work of the film is underway and the makers of the film had released the first look poster last month.
The latest update is that the Red Giant Movies has acquired the theatrical rights of ‘Captain’ in Tamil Nadu, and the film is set for release on September 8 this year. The update was given by Arya on his social media on Monday.

The shooting of the film took place in dense forests of north India and the last leg of the shooting was in Kulu Manali. The film has a star cast that includes Arya, Simran, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Harish Uthaman and Kavya Shetty among others.
