Covid-19 has not been confirmed by anyone in the state today. The state has had consecutive days of relief. No one has confirmed Covid until recently on March 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7. Meanwhile, 5 people tested negative today. The results of 3 persons from Kannur district and 2 from Kasargod district were negative. 474 people have so far been got relief from Covid. About 25 people are currently receiving treatment in various hospitals across the state.
16,693 people are under observation in various districts of the state. Of these, 16,383 were in homes and 310 in hospitals. A total of 131 people were admitted to hospital today. So far, a sample of 35,171 individuals (including the augmented sample) has been sent for inspection. Of the 34,519 samples available, the test yield is negative. In addition, 3037 samples were collected from priority groups, such as health workers, guest workers, social contacts, as part of Sentinel Surveillance, and 2337 samples were negative.
There are no new hot spots in the state. However, 56 areas were excluded from the hot spots today. There are currently 33 hot spots in the state.
