Android games might have tracked your habits

Android games are the latest addition to the accused list of tech world, which have allegedly tracked down user data, without permission. Apparently, around 250 games on the Google Play Store have tracked user data such as habits and interests of users. Reports suggested that a company named Alphonso have allegedly used a spying tool to track user data. However, we are yet to have a clear picture about the nature of the spying software.

The reports point out towards the games using the smartphone microphone in order to get access to user data. While it is been reported that using the sound captured from the microphone, the spying software would assess which TV show does one watches or that of movies s/he watches.
