After the iPhones, technology lovers are paying close attention to the changes in Samsung’s new Galaxy range. The John Proser YouTube channel has released some information on what to expect from Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S22 in 2022 The Galaxy S22 series handsets will be launched in the international market on February 8. Pre-orders will start on the same date and the new handsets will go on sale from February 18. John Procer was also the first to release the launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. More announcements are likely to be made at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 5. Samsung has not yet confirmed any details regarding this.
Samsung is expected to launch three new smartphones. Namely Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. Pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have already been released. It features a curved display with a hole-punch cutout.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Features:
The S22 Ultra can be expected to have a similar design to the previous year. The phone has a 6.8-inch display with QHD Plus resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate display. However, the biggest change will be in terms of screen brightness. The brightness is expected to be around 1800 nits. It will be one of the brightest screens in the world. The standard Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus are expected to have 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch displays respectively. Both have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The rear camera set-up will consist of four cameras. The main camera has a resolution of 108 MP. It will have 12MP ultra-wide and two 10MP telephoto lenses. If one of these telelenses has 3x zoom, the other may have 10x zoom. The resolution for a selfie camera will be 40 MP. Another feature is the S-Pen support. Features include a USB-C charging port, a 5000 mAh battery, and 45-watt charging. The phone will be powered by either the Snapdragon 898 processor or the Exynos 2200 chip.
