Health Department is trying hard to make the contact list of a Covid patient in Aluva, whose contact list is said to be quite a large one. It is the case of a person from Keezhmad, Aluva, that has given warning signals to the health officials in the state. During the attempt of tracing his contact list, it came to be known that he had attended a marriage function. Even during when he had started showing symptoms, he said to have made visits to a business institution.
In line with this, Minister VS Sunil Kumar said that Aluva needs special consideration, and the condition in the town is much problematic than that of Ernakulam. He said that if people continue defying all the restrictions, authorities would have to take tight measures such as triple lockdown. Meanwhile, officials have decided to open the Aluva market that was closed down last day. However, the market would be allowed to function, under tight restrictions, in terms of the number of people that can visit the market at a time.
MLA Anwar Sadath, stressed the importance of public awareness in this regards. He also maintained that if public starts taking precautions, then the pandemic would definitely come under the control. He also added that those who show the symptoms of the disease, should definitely undertake quarantine.
