Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has appeared in the most television commercials in the July-September quarter of 2022.
Vidya Balan and Amitabh Bachchan are right behind. The report is by TM Addex, a division of Tam Media Research. Akshay Kumar got 7 percent share in the number of advertisements while Vidyabalan and Amitabh Bachchan got 6 percent share each.
Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif and Kriti Sanon are the other stars who have appeared in television commercials the most. In the September quarter, 29 percent of TV commercials featured celebrities. Most of them are movie stars. More than 80 percent of celebrity commercials feature movie stars. According to the report, 10 percent are sports players and four percent are television stars.
Eighty-year-old Amitabh Bachchan has appeared in the advertisements of about 40 brands.
Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are also featured in brand ads.
