It seems like the best days are still far away for Malayalam film industry. While a number of projects are getting ready to release in theatres, chances are not that bright for a ‘back to normalcy state’, at least in the near future. It was couple of days ago that makers have pushed the release date of Mammootty starrer ‘The Priest’; for genuine reasons – government yet to give sanctions for ‘second show’, bleak overseas conditions. Now, yet another movie has followed the footsteps of ‘The Priest’ – ‘Ajagajantharam’.

Makers of this Antony Varghese starrer, have taken social media platforms to maintain that they have pushed the release date of the movie, citing the same reasons quoted by the makers of ‘The Priest’. It is also not clear, whether they have any tentative dates for releasing the movie. Penned by Kichu Tellus and Vineeth Vishwan, ‘Ajagajantharam’ is directed by Tinu Pappachan. A joint production venture between Emmanuel Joseph and Ajith Thalapilliy, ‘Ajagajantharam’ also features Chemban Vinod, Arjun Ashokan, Sabumon Abdusamad, and Sudhi Koppa in other important roles.
