The Kerala High Court has severely criticized the state government for slowing down the actress abduction case. It was while questioning the stance of the govt. in not arraigning Dileep in the case, which the apex court of the state criticized the government. Maintaining that all such proceedings regarding arraignment comes under the purview of the court, High Court was referring to the move of Dileep in approaching the Supreme Court to defy the HC order.
Earlier Dileep had filed a petition before SC for handing over the memory card, which is said to have some key evidences regarding the attack on the actress. Subsequently, he then requested the HC to arraign him from all the charges, until the SC verdict, which however was quashed by the HC. Supreme Court will hear the petition filed by the actor on May 1st.
